Northeastern University: Seattle Anniversary Event
WHAT WE DID
As a team, we take pride in our flexibility. No two projects are the same and we’re always down to adjust our approach accordingly.
This Northeastern event illustrated that flexibility in a few ways:
- Most Red Element projects involve cameras—but not this one. Instead, Northeastern needed us to help transform their Seattle campus into a suave event space for an intimate 10th anniversary celebration. We toured the venue multiple times to draft a plan of attack, then convened the right combo of vendors and equipment to make the space look and sound great.
- When clients’ plans change, we go with the flow. Northeastern originally wanted the event to span 3 floors, then asked to scale back with a few weeks to go. We worked with our vendors to adjust the number of screens and lights to suit the new floor plan.
- Non-traditional event spaces are an opportunity to get creative. This venue featured a courtyard with a large vertical trellis. Our client considered it an eyesore, so we pitched them on a tube-light treatment that beckoned attendees into the courtyard and wound up anchoring the whole venue.
